As you can see, the last time we were able to do a newsletter was in the spring of 2020 when the whole world changed. We're working on the next newsletter, but in the meantime, feel free to reach out to us! ------------------------ Spring is a season of transformation. During this time, if you're a senior, you should have a sense of where you will attend college. You might continue looking for scholarships, too. At a STEM event last month, panel participants suggested writing essays and considering applying for scholarships on the financial aid websites of the colleges to which you've been accepted. Huduma Services can help. For some of you who have yet to hear about acceptance from the post-secondary institution, no worries. Many in higher education have had to make arrangements so that all of their classes are online and staff, such as those in admissions, will be working remotely as well, due to COVID-19. In this case, email is your friend and you should check it often. If you need guidance throughout this process, we are available on Zoom, Skype, or Google Hangouts; Huduma Services can help. Part of your preparation for college involves doing well on the PSAT, SAT, or ACT. ACT has a free, online test practice program. The ACT is not being given next month; it has been postponed until June. As you may not have access to your school counselor now, if you're in 9th through 11th grades, you might consider getting a head start on your college preparations by considering that Huduma Services can help.
